[info]1tophi brought up a good point in that we should begin cataloguing everything to avoid redundancy and the same requests week after week. Enough of my time is already choked up maintaining my first love, [info]charlatantric, so I'm looking for volunteers who'd like to step forward and become co-mods and help out in the cause. I'm thinking something as simple as a "weekly round-up" would suffice.

This community is an intermediary step to what I hope becomes available one day: a post-rock-specific bittorrent site. If I knew anything about web design, servers, RSS, and all those other acronyms, it'd have been done by now. I'd like to think of ourselves as a revolutionaries. *pats own back*

i'd be up for that.
it wouldn't be much work since i keep fairly attentive to the community.
would individial songs or collections of songs that aren't albums be documented though? or would those be ignored

Yeah, individual songs and little collections can be ignored because they probably won't be requested and will usually be along the lines of, "hey guys! band x rules, here's a sampler!"

alright, i've written down the albums that have been uploaded so far and their links (not sure if those will be relevant or not since they expire), did you want to have the list be in the bio?

K, well I talked it over with [info]1tophi, and considering the links expire after not too long, it's almost not worth really tracking it. So the same albums are linked a week after the next, same requests are made....eventually they'll die out.

Anyway, you're a co-mod now, and the three of us can make any changes by committee.

I also suggest using tags to categorize at least the last 100 posts for each band/artist.
